In celebration of Grammy Week and the kick off of Black History Month, BOMESI teamed up with the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) for The Black Media Summit. This event, held at Live Nation, aimed to showcase and support Black-owned media and Black journalists.
The highlight of the summit was a panel discussion moderated by Willie “Prophet” Stiggers, featuring industry leaders such as Rhonesha Byng, James DuBose, Tasha Hilton, and Grouchy Greg Watkins. These panelists provided valuable insights and perspectives on the current state of Black media and the importance of representation in the industry.
The event also included a media mixer, providing attendees with the opportunity to network and connect with like-minded individuals in the Black media community.
