BOMESI Awarded $750K Press Forward Grant To Strengthen Black-Owned And Diverse-Owned Media

BOMESI Press Forward Announcement

We are happy to announce today that BOMESI is receiving $750k in funding from Press Forward, a national initiative to reimagine local news.

With the support of Press Forward, BOMESI Foundation and BOMESI Collective will continue our work increasing revenue for local news outlets serving Black and diverse communities.  We will expand a tested ad network that centralizes ad sales and sponsorships from major brands, while providing the training and tools outlets need to adopt it.

BOMESI is one of 22 projects that Press Forward is investing in that will strengthen the local news infrastructure.
